With Halloween happening during the week this year, many exciting events took place last weekend for costumed revelers nationwide. In Minnesota’s Twin Cities region, Sound in Motion (the area’s top company for EDM event production) brought Gareth Emery’s Laserface Halloween show to The Armory, one of the biggest venues in Minneapolis. It was undoubtedly the most sought-after event of the night for local music aficionados.

Laserface could quite possibly be the most magnificent live laser show one ever witnesses. Last weekend’s event featured a glorious display of numerous lasers perfectly synced and choreographed (by internationally eminent lasers designer Anthony Garcia) to the beautiful trance music of British DJ Gareth Emery. The futuristic production enraptured the thousands of costumed attendees for the whole set. Together, Gareth Emery and Anthony Garcia are changing and revolutionizing the trance music landscape.

Sound in Motion also did a stellar job of promoting Gareth Emery’s Laserface Halloween on social media and generating mass word-of-mouth about it for months. In May, they first announced the show on social media with a ticket giveaway (which had many likes and shares). They continually posted about the show for months and promoted the event with 1-month, 10-day, 5-day, and day-of countdown posts to generate buzz.

Even before Gareth Emery took over the DJ booth, attendees were treated to a glorious set by Tritonal (a popular EDM duo from Austin, TX). Tritonal slayed as a pre-performer at Seven Lions’s Horizon Tour show at The Armory in 2017, and this time was no different.  Pre-performers like Progressive Pystrance duo Dimibo and Euphoric Nation (of Minneapolis) also got the crowd extra amped up for the Laserface show to start.

Laserface Halloween was an incredible, unforgettable event.

Sound in Motion has put on many outstanding events at The Armory in Minneapolis, and they have an exciting roster of events happening at the venue this autumn and winter. Local companies that want to market their offerings to thousands of event-goers should definitely look into sponsoring their most buzzed about shows: REZZ Halloween on Oct. 31st, Illenium on Nov. 8th, Louis the Child on Nov. 27th, and Deadmau5 on Dec. 7th.
