Once summer music festival season ends, it can sometimes feel like there is a lull for concert lovers. This is definitely not the case in the Twin Cities music market, all thanks to Sound in Motion! Renowned for being the top dogs in Twin Cities event production and orchestration, Sound in Motion started the Fall 2019 season off strong by bringing a sold-out Martin Garrix show to The Armory (a massive venue in Minneapolis). Just last weekend, they also brought another sold-out crowd to The Armory for Zedd’s ORBIT Tour.

The Zedd show was a masterful fusion of powerful, pristine sound and marvelous production elements. Zedd put on an outstanding set that mixed in many of his most beloved hits, including “Spectrum”, “Beautiful Now”, and “Clarity”. The thousands of attendees sang their hearts out to their favorite songs and were mesmerized by the lasers, dynamic pyrotechnics, and massive display screen that synced up visuals to every beat. Zedd’s DJ booth also stood inside a moving ring that was enveloped in screens! Before his set, attendees were also treated to a fantastic show by NOTD (a duo from Sweden).

Sound in Motion also did a phenomenal job in promoting the show for months before it took place. They first announced the show on social media in the beginning of May, which generated hundreds of likes and shares. They also conducted ticket giveaways on Facebook and shared 10-day, 5-day, 3-day, and day-of countdown posts. All of these posts got Sound in Motion’s huge followings über-excited about sharing the event with their friends.

Zedd’s Orbit Tour gave access to VIZ attendees of the popular Zombie Pub Crawl. There was also a charitable element to the show, as a dollar from every ticket was donated to the Plus 1 nonprofit organization. Plus 1’s mission is to bring artists and their fans together via live music to work on the world’s most pressing issues. The organizations they work with strive to bring dignity, equity, and access to communities who need it.

If you’re looking to grow your brand or organization’s awareness in the Twin Cities market, definitely sponsor one of Sound in Motion’s upcoming events at The Armory.
