The week leading up to last night's Grammy Awards was abuzz with predictions, red carpet fashion features, and splendid gift lounges for the celebrities. On Saturday, Home Business Magazine checked out one of the top must-attend gifting suites of the entire weekend: the annual GBK Pre-GRAMMY Awards VIP Gift Lounge held at SPiN Standard, LA's first professional ping-pong club. Presented by the STOP-Attack assault-response application, Contesta Rock Hair, and Hard Candy makeup, this classy and exclusive affair gave stars like actor Tommy Chong the opportunity to shimmy to upbeat tunes by GoodBoy, get pampered with extraordinary gifts, and learn about important organizations.

The gifts were outstanding at the lounge, especially those from all of the tech sponsors. 808 Audio gifted their 808 Performer BT studio-quality wireless Bluetooth headphones, ActiveOn Camera gave away their versatile personal performance video camera, and ClearView™Audio presented celebs with their nearly invisible Clio™ wireless Bluetooth speaker made from ultra-thin, slightly curved acrylic glass. The Celebvidy application that provides stars with the premiere platform to produce "video selfies" also donated $100 to The Grammy Museum for every celebrity who registered for their app.

Guests also raved about the fabulous beauty and fashion gifts at the lounge, such as Milena's Boutique's moisturizing shea butter candles, Tweezerman's grooming kit for men, and Beauty Kitchen by Heather Marianna's swag set filled with skin polish and other natural spa products. Everyone also went gaga over Contesta Rock Hair's 100% Italian-made premiere hair care products and Hard Candy's superior, affordable, and edgy cosmetics.

In regard to fashion sponsors, guests swarmed the booths for JH Design Group's stylish official team jackets from MLB, the NBA, and more, PISIDIA USA's eco-chic silicone handbags, the exclusive Le Jolie online boutique, and Lula Mena's eco-friendly and innovative fashion accessories made under fair trade standards in El Salvador. Other highly notable gifts were Cryohealthcare's whole body cryotherapy, workout DVD's and training sessions from celebrity trainer Lalo Fuentes, a 10-day luxury cruise in Asia from Crystal Cruises, and an in-office professional teeth whitening treatment from Dr. Jamie Sands, one of the most sought-after aesthetic dental practitioners in Los Angeles.

Home Business Magazine Checks Out Le Medaillon Champagne and FISCH & CHIPS Cookies

The stars also loved all of the appetizing food and refreshment sponsors at the event, such as Bare Organic Mixers' delicious, low-calorie cocktail mixers and Jeju 16's water naturally purified through sixteen layers of volcanic bedrock. FISCH & CHIPS brown butter cookies were also very popular at the lounge, as well as Naturade's Vegan Smart Shakes, Nuvino Wine's award-winning single-serve wines, and Le Medaillon Champagne's classic French champagnes.

While learning about Alfalit International, a non-profit organization that provides literacy programs for the underserved in the U.S. and abroad, Home Business Magazine caught up with actor Tommy Chong. The Cheech & Chong star shared his other plans for Grammys 2015 weekend.

"I am going out to the Cannabis Cup right now," he said. "I am not only working the product, but I am also using it. [laughs] I am a spokesperson for medical marijuana. Just medical, not recreational."

He also shared his favorite gift at the GBK event: the ActiveOn Camera.

Nash Overstreet of Hot Chelle Rae Chats With Home Business Magazine

Amidst learning about L.A.'s GRAMMY Museum that features four floors of music workshops and multimedia exhibitions, Hot Chelle Rae band member Nash Overstreet stopped by to chat about his favorite gifts at the GBK lounge.

"There has been some cool stuff here! I received some 808 Audio headphones, jewelry from Lula Mena, and Hard Candy makeup supplies. It's nice and overwhelming in a great way," Nash said."

And did he have any top Grammy picks?

"No, I can never decide," the musician shared. "I just like watching the performances and taking it all in. I am going to play it safe and not piss off any of my friends by siding with one or the other."

The talented musician went on to tell Home Business Magazine about his current projects.

"We are currently doing a lot of recording for Hot Chelle Rae's next album, as well as writing and producing for several other artists," he revealed. "I am also focusing on a bunch of things for a solo project I am working on. I've literally been busier this month than I have in the last year…many 15 to 16-hour days!"
