What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

One of the most challenging parts of my journey was to understand the patient’s mindset. Customers visit pharmacies with trust and still do not seem to be convinced properly. I was confused with their requirements at first but with time I realized that they do not come persuaded, they need to be persuaded with your words. This helped me a lot in my journey as a successful pharmacist.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

To be self-sufficient would be undoubtedly the first quality. Even if one isn’t completely filled with the desired qualities, believing in yourself can be a great step. The second quality would be smartness. One should be mentally, emotionally and socially smart to outgrow in a world where hard work is superseded by smart work. When you are smart overall, there is nothing that can implant insecurities in your mind.

The third quality I believe would be strength. Not just physical strength, but mental, emotional and spiritual strength plays the part so well. You know when you are mentally stable, strong and satisfied, there is nothing that can disturb your peace. Emotional strength also plays a key role in self-growth.

What is your life mantra?

See, I don’t have a particular life mantra to be clear, but I do believe in a lot of things that I like to adopt in my life. One solid belief that I set my mind on would be “never be too satisfied with what you have”. Being at peace with your growth is good but the moment you get satisfied with what you’ve achieved, you stop. In order to grow relentlessly, one should always aim for bigger dreams, only then they can achieve them.

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

I am not a big fan of applications or online tools to be honest. But I like the idea of Epocrates. It is quite helpful for the pharmacists. Also, if taken social media in account, Facebook is the golden treasure for all age groups.

Share any one habit which you think makes you more productive.

I like to gather as much knowledge as possible. At first it started getting annoying and torturous for me and the people around me, but with time I realized how much it has helped me throughout my success journey. I have this urge to dig in for more information, I like to know more, and that genuinely is one thing I’d suggest people to adapt.

Share any one habit which you wish to change in yourself.

I am not one introspecting kind of person. But I do have some habits that I really wish I could get rid of. One of them would be to overthink. This is the worst habit one can have, ask me. I hate being talked to because I know the moment I leave that place, my mind would be all over that topic and digging deep inside the topic which is purely not needed.

What are your plans for the next 3 years?

Since the pandemic hit has affected all type of businesses now, I realized that one should have more than one earning source to live peacefully. I do not have big dreams for the coming years honestly, but I do envision an addition to my pharmacy chain. I’d like to open a pharmacy in the central city for better crowd and engagement.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

That’s a tricky one! I’d love to be a doctor. Since I have intrinsic knowledge of medicines and all types of health conditions, I think I will best fit in as a doctor.

Share a quote that inspires you the most.

“Medicines cure diseases, but only kindness treats the patient”. I truly and completely believe in this quote. Being in this field for so long, now I have a soft corner for all the people that I meet. Being kind and humble is one cheapest medicine you can offer someone. I personally am a big fan of kind words and actions, so, yes I believe in being kind and generous to anyone and everyone.
