Kristen Bowen knows what it’s like to beat the odds. After recovering from a complete health crash involving autoimmune issues and a series of failed surgeries, Bowen discovered she had developed chemical sensitivities to most skin care products. Through research and looking for outside-the-box solutions, she concluded that to regain her health she needed to build a strong foundation with whole food supplements.

Bowen began researching products that could help improve her health and quality of life and found that soaking in liquid magnesium did just that. As her health improved, she began creating body products for herself, family and friends right from her 10X15 basement kitchen. She never intended to start a business but her friends offered to pay her for her products and advice on whole food supplements and minerals and thus, Living the Good Life Naturally was born in 2002.

Starting with one-on-one consultations with clients, Bowen’s business quickly grew to include selling at local farmers’ markets. She moved from her small kitchen in her home to a retail space in Logan, Utah. Bowen also began hosting a Utah-based radio show, where she answered questions on natural health and empowered her listeners to take charge of their own financial, emotional, and physical destiny. Her high energy and information-packed radio show opened the way for workshops and keynote addresses at holistic health conferences.

When researching ingredients and materials for her natural bath and body products, Bowen strived to use only the cleanest and ethically sourced ingredients. Living the Good Life Naturally supports the Uganda Project that provides good-paying income to female entrepreneurs rendering cocoa butter in communal kitchens, and using that income to feed and educate their children. Bowen’s mission is to educate consumers on ethically sourcing ingredients and its positive effects on communities by giving back.

From small beginnings in her 10X15 basement kitchen to her warehouse, store, and online business, Bowen helps thousands of individuals reclaim their own health foundation by educating them on natural alternatives. As she tells her clients: “You are the CEO of your health. Let me be on your board of directors.”

Living the Good Life Naturally now sells nationwide. Kristen Bowen continues to educate consumers about reaching their potential through cell saturation by soaking in magnesium: the foundation for optimal health and energy.
