SBA and Partners Helping Minnesotan’s Over 50 Start and Grow Businesses

Three Events Held Across the State Part of National Initiative

Today, the 50+ are working beyond traditional retirement age and choosing to stay active and engaged in the workforce. With years of valuable work experience, maturity, and plenty of energy at their disposal, older workers are increasingly finding financial and personal fulfillment in running their own small businesses. That’s why AARP and the Small Business Administration launched a strategic alliance to provide Americans over the age of 50 with real-world, actionable information they need to start and grow small businesses.

Thanks to the strong support of SBA resource partners, three Encore Entrepreneur Mentor Classes will be held across Minnesota as part of this initiative to help continue to grow our economy and create jobs:

Minneapolis
Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. — noon

Getting Ready is a class designed to help you decide if business ownership is right for you. This class is normally offered for $150 but will be only $25 for people over 50. For more information and to register, call 612-224-9540.

St. Cloud
