RENTCafé and Yardi Offer Housing Help for Hurricane Harvey Evacuees

To help the tens of thousands of people affected by Hurricane Harvey, Yardi has created a free online housing registry where displaced residents can find temporary and permanent homes for rent. If you or someone you know has been affected by this natural disaster and needs help finding housing in the aftermath of the storm, now you have direct access to available rentals in the area.

The housing registry listing Hurricane Harvey rentals is hosted on RENTCafe.com, a national apartment search website, part of the Yardi family of companies. The website allows housing providers to post available units, including special concessions, and displaced residents to search for rentals.

This is a not-for-profit Yardi initiative and all fees for using the website have been waived for both landlords posting their available apartments and for prospective renters who use it. The following toll-free number is also available to evacuees in need of housing assistance: (844) 363-6317.

More than 5,000 apartments have been added to the housing registry since its launch on September 1st.
