There are so many ghoulishly good events to check out during Halloween month, and one just dominated the Twin Cities scene on Saturday: Zombie Pub Crawl 2018. Taking place on Hall’s Island in Northeast Minneapolis, this spooktacular event attracted thousands of Twin Cities consumers. Attendees zombiefied themselves and gathered to enjoy beer from local breweries and superb performances by Alison Wonderland, Twista, and more.

Twista puts on a stellar performance for the massive crowd of zombies.

Certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the “World’s Largest Gathering of Zombies”, Zombie Pub Crawl was a fantastic experience that kept the Twin Cities nightlife thriving despite the dropping temperatures. At the Brain Belt Stage, partygoers enjoyed extraordinary performances by Twista, Snow Tha Product (a popular rapper from San Jose, CA), and A$AP Ferg. Local Twin Cities artists like Impaler (a shock rock group) and deejay Jimmy2Times also helped kick off the party earlier in the day.

The Hell’s Island Stage also featured a roster of high caliber performers. The crowd went gaga over phenomenal sets by DJ Diesel (a.k.a. Shaquille O’Neil) and international DJ Alison Wonderland. Earlier in the day, the crowd was treated to shows by electro-pop artist Robotaki and Twin Cities DJ Strangelove. The after-party at Pryes Brewing Company also featured shows by house music duo Golf Clap and Codes.

Like every year, Zombie Pub Crawl 2018 provided many opportunities for renowned brands and sponsors to connect with a swarm of consumers. Zombies enjoyed themed “Brain Belt” beer from Grain Belt brewery in Minneapolis and tasty eats from the dozens of onsite food trucks, including one for renowned Twin Cities bahn mi eatery Lu’s Sandwiches. Attendees also enjoyed checking out the booth for Planned Parenthood and another tent for tarot readings. The main hotel sponsor for the event was RISE by Elevation.

Party-goers were able to learn about Planned Parenthood’s services and register to vote at their booth.

Throughout the day, party-goers also enjoyed carnival rides and games, live pro wrestling by F1rst Wrestling, the World Brain-Eating Championships, and a costume contest. After the event, zombies with a wristband were able to keep the party going at Bunny’s Bar & Grill, The 1029 Bar, and Elsie’s. Overall, Zombie Pub Crawl 2018 elevated the Twin Cities economy and brought locals together for a fantastic, unforgettable night.
