Event Marketing Triumph: Sound In Motion’s Seven Lions Show Sells Out Minneapolis’s Massive New Venue

Sound In Motion hosted The Armory’s first show, Seven Lion’s Horizon Tour, to a sold-out crowd.

As the chosen host of Super Bowl 2018, there’s no doubt that Minneapolis has become one of the nation’s most dynamic entertainment hubs. The larger of the Twin Cities also just opened a new events venue, The Armory, and it’s a must-experience for all. Over the weekend, top EDM events production company Sound In Motion hosted The Armory’s first show, Seven Lions‘s Horizon Tour. Calling it “successful” would be a vast understatement.

There’s always a lot of pressure when hosting the first show at a new music venue, but Sound In Motion orchestrated an incredible, unforgettable experience to a sold-out crowd. Built in 1935 -1936 for use by the National Guard, The Armory is now an immaculate music and events space that holds a standing live concert crowd of up to 9,500. Selling out The Armory’s first show was an enormous feat to take on, but Sound In Motion did just that!

The Armory’s lighting and sound production were nothing short of remarkable.

At the show, attendees were treated to a breathtaking lighting and laser production, crisp sounds, and bass that thundered throughout the entire venue and filled the soul. The music lovers first took in magical sets by dubstep master DJ Kill The Noise and Tritonal, a fantastic electro house duo dominating the EDM scene. They were the perfect pre-performers to get the crowd pumped up and ecstatic for Seven Lions to take the stage.

Kill The Noise put on a riveting set for the thousands of music enthusiasts.

Like all of his shows, Seven Lions put on an enchanting set that left the crowd in awe. The beautiful sounds and marvelous lighting display kept all the EDM lovers jumping up and down and dancing until the very end. Although the venue sold out and the crowd was enormous, it never seemed overly packed or uncomfortable–everyone still had room to dance to their heart’s desire.

Although the Seven Lions show sold out, everyone in the giant crowd still had space to dance the night away.

Sound In Motion’s first event at The Armory was a monumental success and they have two more shows at the venue to look forward to: Above & Beyond for NYE 2018 and Steve Aoki/Desiigner on Feb. 24th. For EDM and Twin Cities lifestyle companies looking to expand their customer reach and brand recognition, sponsoring either or both of these shows would be a definite step in the right direction for 2018.
