Please join us for A Walk With Sean and others who have been diagnosed with brain cancer. This volunteer event was created by family and friends after Sean’s diagnosis of inoperable brain cancer at the age of 20, to help support brain cancer research at the John Wayne Cancer Institute under the direction of Dr. Santosh Kesari. Dr. Kesari understands the urgency of improved response to therapy and is working to accelerate the development of novel therapies for brain cancer through drug innovations, genomics and efficient trials.
Sean’s mother, Michele Hunter, said, “Doctors told my son to go home to hospice. I couldn’t accept that for my child, so I found someone who wouldn’t either. Dr. Kesari is there to fight with us, to give Sean hope when there was none.” #WALKWITHSEAN
