Sound in Motion Hosts “The Great Sonic Wars” With NGHTMRE And JoyRyde at The Armory in Minneapolis

The heat wave delaying fall across the country has finally broken and temperatures are finally cooling off. However, Sound in Motion is just getting started with a plethora of incredible shows scheduled for the rest of the year. They recently hosted NGHTMRE and JoyRyde for The Great Sonic Wars, a B2B bonanza of adrenaline-pumping EDM sets at the Armory in Minneapolis. Sound in Motion regularly produces and orchestrates large-scale music shows at venues around the Twin Cities, and their skills shined with this large-scale production at the hottest music venue in Minneapolis. It was the perfect start to the fall season and a perfect juxtaposition of cooler weather and the hottest show all year.

Right as doors opened, the event kicked off with an opening set by FrostTop, who specializes in heart pumping trap music and a love for floor-shaking bass. Next up was an exciting preview of the final act with NGHTMRE coming out for a throwback DJ set. He has many fan favorites from over the years, and the crowd loved dancing and singing along to all their favorite classics. Following that was an energizing set by Eliminate, a dubstep connoisseur who also dabbles in electro house, trap, and drum and bass.

Finally, NGHTMRE and Joyryde took the stage for individual sets featuring their own unique headbang-worthy tracks and wub-filled beats followed by a spectacular B2B to end the night. The captivating designs on the main screen and extensive use of electrifying lasers were perfectly synced down to every individual beat. These visuals truly showcased Sound in Motion’s top-notch production value and extensive experience in audiovisual synchronization for EDM shows. From start to finish, this show kept everyone across the venue captivated and on their feet dancing.
