Hollywood is a whirlwind of red carpet soirees every summer, but the one party that outshines them all just took place over the weekend: the annual MAXIM Hot 100 Party. Produced by Karma International and hosted by Victoria’s Secret angel Stella Maxwell, this highly exclusive event shut down The Hollywood Palladium with a headlining performance by Iggy Azalea, a DJ set by Nick Cannon, and a special performance by RedOne. It was also the perfect space for brands to network with top stars like Too $hort.
The party was a celebrity marketing and networking goldmine for all of the lucky sponsors in attendance. A-listers like Amber Rose, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, and model Shaun Ross got to sample floats by Best Damn Root Beer and had the chance to watch a behind-the-scenes fashion shoot by Pure Model Club. Gallany Cosmetics also touched up the stars with their premium makeup and the MARKABLE retail app did shopping demos for the countless celebrity guests. The big names also had a blast testing out Swagtron‘s smart board. The party gave Hollywood’s elite the opportunity to learn all about these companies, take photos with the brands, and provide their own testimonials.
Throughout the night, the stars enjoyed sampling specialty spirits by CÎROC Vodka and Don Julio 1942. Monster Energy also got the crowd amped with their tasty, energizing drinks. To cool down between sets, the partygoers flocked to the H2rOse table to sample their delicious and refreshing rose water and saffron beverages. After the exhilarating performances, the high status socialites and celebrities were treated to safe and stylish rides home by LYFT Premier‘s luxury vehicles.
On the red carpet, Home Business Magazine caught up with international model Shaun Ross. The popular fashion icon was happy to discuss what he is currently working on business-wise.
“I just became the face of AXE and I’m about to head to San Francisco to speak with the governor about masculinity,” he said.
He went on to share whether or not he has a motto that inspires him to achieve his deepest business aspirations.
“Yes! My motto is: I do what I do because they told me I couldn’t,” Shaun shared.
When asked how he keeps his work and everything else in a healthy balance, Shaun said it was essential to “stay level-headed.”
On the carpet, world-renowned celebrity blogger Perez Hilton also revealed to Home Business Magazine what he’s currently working on.
“I’ve been doing a lot of acting this year!” he said. “I had a small cameo in the Absolutely Fabulous movie, I had two guest appearances on this Comedy Central show called Another Period, and I also did these two other movies. One is coming out this week on DVD called Meet The Blacks, which is a spoof of The Purge movie. The other one is a horror film called Most Likely To Die, which is available on VOD. I am excited to do more acting and have fun and also still do my day job.”
Later, Tyson Beckford stopped by to chat about his current business endeavors. He revealed that he is working on an exciting new show!
“Right now, I am working on a TV show called Zero to Sixty, which is about celebrities in fast cars. First, we check out what they have at their house and then we put them in some of our fast cars. The show is sponsored by Lexus so we have all the fast Lexus cars in it,” Tyson said.
Home Business Magazine also had the opportunity to talk business with music mogul Too $hort on the red carpet. He was happy to share his top tip for entrepreneurial success.
“In my experience, it is so important to have passion,” Too $hort said. “If you get all the way in it and it’s working but you don’t like it, it’s going to be miserable. Having passion for what you do is so important, as it makes everything else fall into place. It gives you the drive and the energy to do all of it…it takes a lot.”
