Ocean’s Resort Casino is a resort, hotel and casino based in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Despite being renowned globally for its thrilling casino, the management group is focused on turning this gambling venue into a swanky property that can be enjoyed by both adults and kids! Jordan Deifik, principal of Ocean Resort and son of Bruce Deifik, the chairman of AC Oceanwalk, said to the Press of Atlantic City that he and his family envision the property to be a hot spot for any age group;
“We want to create a culture of family here. We’re firm believers in family, and we view everyone, from our team members to our guests, as an extension of that.” Family is important to Bruce and Nancy Deifik and son Jordan. And the new business owners of the former Revel Casino Hotel believe a focus on treating everyone like they are part of their family will be a noticeable difference to guests.
Candy King
Within the revamped casino, there is set to be three designated areas for children, plus a family area. The areas include:
- The Den: A lounge designed specifically for children with e-sports and video games, which will be perched above the casino floor. This will allow children to compete in video game tournaments with age-restricted games.
- Cereal Town: Cereal bar with cereals from across the globe.
- Rocket Fizz: Candy store chain featuring a huge offering of sweet treats, which include the latest kids craze to candy of the past.
- Topgolf Swing Suite: a 11-bay virtual golf range with lounge areas.
Alarm bells?
Gambling and children are two entities which should never mix and some say that the casino venue should not be a place for children, especially with a video games lounge overlooking a vast floor of casino tables and slots. But the owners will not sell their souls to gaming marathons or swarms of screaming children; instead it promises to add a touch of luxury even for children.
