Sundance 2019 was chockfull of must-attend panels with A-list actors and actresses from some of the festival’s most talked about films. A lot of these panels took place at Chase Sapphire on Main, which became a go-to spot for many Sundance influencers. At these panels, which were co-sponsored by LA Times, movie enthusiasts got an inside look at the process of filming some of the top Sundance 2019 projects.

One fabulous panel that Chase Sapphire hosted featured the stars of The Sunlit Night, a film about a woman who finds herself down on her luck but then pursues an art residency on a remote island in Norway where the sun never sets. This event was moderated by LA Times Staff Writer Amy Kaufman and included cast members Zach Galifianakis and Jenny Slate, along with directors and producers of the film. Zach and Jenny enjoyed talking about what it was like to shoot the film in Norway and what the movie is all about.

Chase Sapphire on Main also put on panels for Hala (with Jada Pinkett Smith and Anna Clumsky), Paradise Hills (with Emma Roberts and Awkwafina), and Little Monsters (with Lupita Nyong’o). These panels were a great way for Sundance enthusiasts to ask questions directly to some of the festival’s biggest stars and hear their special insights. They definitely made Sundance Film Festival 2019 more personal and exciting.
