Year 2019 is finally here! To celebrate the end of 2018, many revelers toasted to the New Year at music festivals nationwide. The Twin Cities in particular had many high profile celebrations, such as the much-anticipated 3rd annual Snowta NYE Festival. Taking place at The Armory in downtown Minneapolis on December 30th and 31st, this electrifying event attracted thousands of music lovers and featured a smorgasbord of incredible headliners.

The third annual Snowta NYE Festival attracted thousands of music lovers from all over America and beyond.
This year’s Snowta NYE Festival featured a bevy of first-rate performers, including Skrillex.

The past two Snowta Festivals took place at the Convention Center in Minneapolis (which were outstanding experiences), and this year at The Armory was even better. On both nights, attendees were treated to four stages of marvelous music performances. The first night featured headliners like Marshmello, NGHTMRE, and Ghastly at the Snowta Main Stage, as well as other performers like MadeinTYO and Manic Focus at the side stages.

On the second night, partyers got to take in fantastic sets by Belgian bass duo Ganja White Night and Chief Keef, who performed “I Don’t Like” and other top hits. The side stages also featured artists like Chance York and Minnesota’s own Yung Gravy, whose videos have garnered millions of views on YouTube. Right before midnight, attendees swarmed the main stage to take in an exhilarating New Year’s countdown by Skrillex.

Each night, the production elements were exceptional and featured colorful lasers, pyrotechnics, massive screens showing mesmerizing visuals, and more. Attendees also enjoyed checking out vendors like Esemde (a favorite clothing line for DJs) and FestiDaze festival attire. There were also fun activities like an arcade, a special photobooth and themed cocktails courtesy of Smirnoff Vodka, artists painting at installations, and a skate park. There was a lot to do in case attendees needed a break from dancing!

Smirnoff hosted a fun, interactive photobooth and had specialty Snowta cocktails at the bars.

In all, the third annual Snowta NYE Festival greatly exceeded exceptions and proved to be even bigger than the years prior. They did an excellent job of promoting the event via social media and posters around the Twin Cities. If you work with a music lifestyle brand and are looking to grow your customer base in 2019, definitely consider sponsoring and/or managing a booth at next year’s Snowta NYE Festival. It will greatly expand your brand awareness and help you grow your following in the competitive music lifestyle market.
