The 68th annual Emmy Awards took place over the weekend, and it was filled with many wondrous moments (Tatiana Maslaney’s long-awaited win, anyone?) and shockers. Just as exciting were the red carpet events that occurred during the weeks leading up to the big night for television. One such event that all stars wanted an invite to was the Ultimate Primetime TV – Red Carpet Ready Lounge, put on by Dreamhouse Marketing & Branding Group, The Accessories Council, and Madison & Mulholland. Held at the W, Hollywood, the lounge gave stars like Emmy winner Carson Kressley a fab space to celebrate the 2016 Emmy Awards in style.
The Ultimate Primetime TV – Red Carpet Ready Lounge featured a slew of exciting activities and jaw-dropping gifts for the A-list attendees. Celebrities like Emmy 2016 Winner Louie Anderson, Shameless actress Shanola Hmpton, singer Latoya Jackson, Criminal Minds star Joe Mantenga, and X-Men actor Bruce Davison were treated to relaxing massages by Royal Treatment Pampering Services. After indulging in Tequila Mudslide Marshmallows by Sugar & Spyked, stars were also seen happily browsing the chic, high fashion dresses by Ivan Bitton Style House, The Sue Wong Collection, and Pentard Couture (featuring one-of-a-kind pieces).
Amidst browsing all of the fashions and treats, stars also loved sampling beverages by Devotion Vodka, Evol, and Moreno Champagne. The event also gave back to a great cause, as Madison & Mulholland founder Jane Ubell-Meyer raised money with the sale of a custom travel bag for OCRFA, the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance.
At the end of the event, the star guests left with a bag filled with must-have gifts that left all of the stars in awe. The celebrities received elegant accessories by Alister Mekhi, Clinical Face Serum and Face Wash by Mirai Clinical Skin Care, Toxic Eyewear, high-end sunglasses by BMW Eyewear, portable mask-based skincare treatments by Masquerology Skin Care, and gift certificates for Beauty & Body Care Treatments by Image Spa. The stars also loved the make-up from We Are Pop Culture by Christina Milian, Nudy Patooty‘s organic undershirts for women, The Birthplace’s clothing line that represents different cities, and Big Sexy Hair‘s volumizing and texturizing powder.
Books also had a major presence in the bag, as it featured must-reads like The Devil I Know, a novel by Bess Richards (she was on-site personally signing books for guests), Italian Moms Spreading Their Art to Every Table Cookbook (by Elisa Costantini), and the Heroes Haven Graphic Novel by Gotham City Films, LLC. Other top gifts were Madison & Mulholland’s Cross Body Travel Bag (which charges your cellphone while on-the-go), and Ihale Health Vitamin Vape Pens. Created by Inhale Health, a biotech company based in Beverly Hills, California, VitaminVapor™ delivers four essential vitamins directly to the bloodstream through inhalation.
The Ultimate Primetime TV Lounge gift bag was also presented to past and present Emmy Nominees, including: Tina Fey, Melissa McCarthy, Kirsten Dunst, Felicity Huffman, Amy Schumer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Taraji P. Henson, Claire Danes, and Robin Wright, as well as Hollywood stylists.
The red carpet lounge and gift bag were exciting and proved to be excellent celebrity marketing opportunities for brands. Many of the A-listers tweeted and Instagrammed about the lounge and gifts to their millions of followers, which was sure to bring forth an influx of new customers for the event sponsors. The media present also had fun learning about the brands’ stories, which would later result in valuable plugs in both online and print publications. For startups looking to connect their products and services to the esteem of next year’s Emmy Awards, definitely keep the Ultimate Primetime TV – Red Carpet Ready Lounge at the top of your 2017 marketing plan.
