Celebrity brand marketing maven Debbie Durkin is renowned for her fab taste in Earth-friendly gifts for the stars and her EcoLuxe Lounges that tie green living to glam luxury. Over the first weekend of Sundance 2016, the celeb green gifting genius put on another must-attend EcoLuxe Lounge at The Blue Iguana for stars attending the festival. At the posh affair, big names like Kendra Wilkinson, Sundance 2016 film star Nate Parker, and Gretchen Rossi enjoyed luxe gifts, brunch, and Tito’s USA-made vodka cocktails.

Home Business Magazine scored a much sought-after invite to the highly exclusive EcoLuxe Lounge and got to scope out the gifts, charity partners, and celebrities in attendance. A major highlight of the event was presenting sponsor Choices Recovery‘s Celebrity Media Center hosted by How2Girl Courtney Sixx, wife of Mötley Crüe member Nikki Sixx. In the lounge, Courtney chatted with filmmakers and Hollywood stars about addiction and ways to help others overcome issues with substance abuse.

The gifts were highly impressive at this year’s Sundance EcoLuxe Lounge, especially those in the travel and relaxation arena. The attending celebs happily walked away with custom hardcoat luggage from Chariot Travelware, passes to the rejuvenation spa at Spa Montage Deer Valley, and $500.00 Luxury Yacht Day Charters gift cards towards a yacht charter in tropical getaways like South Florida and the Bahamas. Everyone also adored the fashion-forward vegan leather purses and cross-body bags from Handbag Republic, which were perfect for carrying all your Sundance 2016 essentials from event to event.

Fashion gifts were also all the rage at the Sundance 2016 EcoLuxe Lounge. The celebrities all loved the stylish and affordable kicks from Burnetie Shoes, Barefoot Athletic Co.‘s dynamic and eco-friendly apparel, and Bula‘s winter-friendly headwear for adults and kids. Other noteworthy sponsors were high quality hand warmers from resQme Inc. car safety must-haves, passes to Camp Run-A-Mutt (the cage-free dog daycare and boarding franchise), and luxury rides from Karl Malone Used Car Outlet.

The food and drink options at Sundance 2016 EcoLuxe Lounge were just superb. Early guests noshed on a delectable brunch bar (think curried eggs) until 2 p.m., courtesy of Whole Foods and Fit Foods 2 You, and later attendees enjoyed tantalizing gluten free pizzas and garlic knots from Mangia Neapolitan Pizza Park City. The attendees also got a nice caffeine kick with Bullet Proof Coffee and stayed hydrated with La Croix sparkling waters and tasty cold-pressed juices from RIPE Bar Juice. Guests could also select Modern Oats gourmet oatmeal packs to take home and enjoy later after the festival.

Repurpose Compostables provided plant-made sustainable dinnerware for the brunch area and Dancing Daisies Floral ensured that the lounge looked lovely with their gorgeous flower arrangements.

At the table for presenting sponsor Shriners Hospital for Children – Los Angeles, which featured a “stashing through the snow” photo booth, Home Business Magazine caught up with Sundance star Nate Parker. Nate was happy to chat about his favorite gift at EcoLuxe Lounge and his film in the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.

“My favorite gift is the Burnetie Shoes, because I like anything that is made responsibly in respect to the environment. It is important for me to be at EcoLuxe Lounge, as it features some really great green brands.”

The talented actor went on to chat about his Sundance 2016 film, The Birth Of A Nation.

“The film is about my character, Nat Turner, who lead the most successful slave revolt in American history in 1831,” he said.
