Metro Area Veterans to Get Help Starting or Growing Small Business

FREE Boots to Business Reboot Class Coming to Metro Area in July 2017

The Small Business Administration (SBA) invites veterans and their spouses to a free entrepreneurship training course in Eden Prairie, Minn. Boots to Business Reboot (Reboot) is a two-step training program that helps veterans learn what it takes and prepares them to dive into business ownership.

Reboot has been designed specifically for veterans and their spouses. In step one of Reboot, veterans will get an overview of business ownership and business plan development, a practical exercise in spotting opportunities and an introduction to available public and private resources.

The first step of Reboot will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Minnesota Bankers Association, 8050 Washington Ave South, Suite 150, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.

The one day session is free, but space is limited and registration is required. These classes have been filling up fast and early registration is highly suggested. Register at: https://sbavets.force.com.

Veterans who complete this one day course will then be eligible for step two: a FREE eight-week online entrepreneurship course.

Partnering with the SBA to present this Boots to Business Reboot program are the Minnesota Bankers Association, the Small Business Development Center and the Veterans Business Outreach Center.
