More and more people are working in shared co-working spaces, cafes and similar these days. Imagine if they have your sticker stuck on the back of their laptop, how many people this will reach. Similarly for stickers on the backs of their cars or on other items they carry around with them. If people really love your stickers and/or your brand, they will stick them in public places for you, like the backs of toilet doors or on lamp posts.

At best, this will not only let your customers and fans promote your brand for you, but it will also help you build stronger relationship with your customers. By involving your customers and asking them to promote your brand through your stickers, you effectively make them part of your team. They’ll be on your side, and more likely to support your brand in the future.

What Makes an Effective Sticker Design?

Designing a great sticker in some ways is like designing anything and many of the general rules of design apply. However, stickers are in many ways a unique canvas, and there are certain things that will help to make your stickers amazing, so that your customers will love them so much that they sticker them everywhere they go!

Firstly, it is important to keep your stickers simple. Stickers are a small item, so you don’t want to overwhelm them with too many design elements. It is also important to keep text to a minimum on stickers, remembering that stickers are not designed to convey a lot of written information. Often, two contrasting fonts that work well together can be very effective.

Finally, don’t be afraid to use colour. Bright, bold colours can be very effective in attracting attention to your stickers, which is the point after all. Unless there is a good reason not to, use your brand colours to reinforce your branding at the same time.
