Film Stars & Influencers Swarm The SundanceTV Headquarters During The First Weekend Of Sundance 2018

The SundanceTV HQ put on many exciting events, including the “2018 Sundance Film Festival Official Kickoff” Party hosted by Robert Redford.

Everyone who attends Sundance knows that it is so much more than just a film festival–it is a marketing goldmine for entertainment industry brands. Every year at Sundance, media companies put on exciting lounges that are filled with parties and fun activations for stars and influencers. Many such lounges took place last weekend at Sundance 2018, but the one that everyone wanted to check out was put on by SundanceTV.

Renowned as the official television partner of Sundance Film Festival, SundanceTV hosted A-listers, filmmakers, and socialites at their popular SundanceTV HQ all weekend long. They put on many fêtes for the upper echelon of the entertainment industry, including their 2018 Sundance Film Festival Official Kickoff” Party. Hosted by none other than the founder of Sundance Film Festival, Robert Redford, it was a riveting experience for all.

The SundanceTV HQ hosted an array of remarkable parties, panels, and interactive experiences.

In addition to this see-and-be-seen bash, the SundanceTV HQ put on inspiring panels for Sundance attendees. Two notable panels were the “Midnight” panel (presented by Shudder), where filmmakers focused on horror filmmaking, as well as the “The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Women Breaking Barriers” Panel. Hosted by Elisabeth Sereda, this was an intriguing conversation between accomplished ladies in the film industry.

The SundanceTV HQ provided a clean and colorful space for film industry stars and influencers to mingle and discuss future projects.

Sundance tastemakers also loved the “Hap and Leonard”-themed Escape the Set live action puzzle escape room experience. In this activation (set in 1989 Grovetown, TX), participants had to work together to solve puzzles that would help them find Hap and Leonard, who vanished while on a mission to rescue their friend. This collaborative experience helped Sundance influencers meet each other and was an exciting way to kick off Weekend 1.

Another notable event at the SundanceTV HQ was the The Moth Mainstage (presented by GEICO), where storytellers shared true stories in front of a live audience. Invited guests also loved the “Yacht Rock” Party (presented by Blue Moon), where attendees got to enjoy live ’70s and ’80s music. Also popular was The Power of Art in Education” Panel (presented by LFEWTR), where filmmakers shared how education influenced their lives.

The events were presented by many must-have lifestyle brands, including LIFEWTR.

The SundanceTV HQ put on a bevy of thrilling events and was definitely one of the most popular destinations of Sundance 2018 Weekend 1.
