If you want to host a successful music event, it is imperative to ensure that the sound system, production elements, and pre-show promotion are nothing short of top-tier. Just ask Sound in Motion, the Twin Cities’ undisputed top dogs in the EDM event production scene. Last week, the company hosted the Minneapolis leg of Above & Beyond‘s Adjunafamily Reunion Tour at The Armory, which was a resounding success thanks to careful pre-event planning and orchestration.
Sound in Motion continually brings the most sought-after EDM shows to the Twin Cities, and the Above & Beyond show was no different. Attendees were first treated to incredible sets by popular show openers like Gardenstate and Pretty Pink. Then, Above & Beyond took over the turntables and proved once again why they will always be absolute legends in the trance scene. Their beautiful set captivated the enormous audience and featured a stunning production setup that included gorgeous visuals and colorful lasers.
Like all of their past shows at The Armory, Sound in Motion did a superb job of generating awareness about the Adjunafamily Reunion Tour show. They first announced it on their Facebook and Instagram pages with a like/comment/share giveaway in June, which spread the word about the show right away. Then they posted a video, a “1 Week Away” post, and other countdown posts to help generate even more awareness about the show. These initiatives were highly effective in building buzz and boosting ticket sales for the event.
Sound in Motion’s Adjunafamily Reunion Tour show in Minneapolis was an unforgettable, wonderful experience that left attendees wanting more. Luckily, the company is hosting other upcoming events at The Armory, including three nights of Illenium shows from December 10-12, Lights All Night events for NYE from December 30-31, and Dillon Francis x Yung Gravy on January 15th. These shows will definitely attract huge crowds and be excellent marketing opportunities for lifestyle brands.
