Once it starts getting cold and snowy in the Twin Cities, one would assume that the region’s entertainment scene might take a hit. However, weekend after weekend, Sound in Motion’s EDM events keep the area’s nightlife nothing short of thriving. True masterminds of event production, the folks at Sound in Motion consistently bring must-experience, at-capacity shows to top venues all over the Twin Cities. Last weekend, they brought deadmau5’s long-awaited Cube V.3 show to The Armory, a popular venue in Minneapolis.
Sound in Motion hosted an incredible deadmau5 show at The Armory in August 2018, and last weekend’s event was even more spectacular due to its jaw-dropping new visuals. deadmau5 orchestrated his set at a DJ booth inside of a cube enveloped in screens that showed mesmerizing visuals perfectly synced to the music. The cube also revolved throughout the show to sometimes reveal deadmau5, who donned his signature mouse helmet. Lasers also dazzled the crowd and a screen behind the cube played more visuals.
deadmau5’s entire set was a true once-in-a-lifetime experience for all of the attendees. The bass was thunderous and he mixed in many of his greatest hits, including “Strobe”, “Cthulhu Sleeps”, and other tracks from his beloved 2010 album, 4×4=12. The massive crowd of music lovers were seen happily belting out the lyrics to “Ghosts N Stuff” and jumping up and down to every beat. Even before deadmau5’s set, attendees had an absolute blast taking in a phenomenal set by K?d, an up-and-coming American DJ.
The deadmau5 Cube V.3 show was yet another enormously successful show at The Armory that Sound in Motion could add to their list. They also have a roster of more exciting events taking place at The Armory this winter: entertainment scene on February 1, entertainment scene 1 & 2 on February 14 and 15, and JAUZ on February 28. Lifestyle businesses looking to grow their brand awareness in the Twin Cities region should definitely consider sponsoring these events, as it will help connect them with thousands of local music lovers.
