Huntington Beach Beer Festival 2016 just took over the Meadowlark Golf Club on August 13th, and it was even better than last year’s event in regard to marketing capability and consumer reach. At the beerfest, thousands of OC beer lovers descended upon the many brewery tents in search of their favorite sips. It was the perfect space for local brewery startups and national beer labels to introduce their most popular brews and brand new launches to a swarm of eager beer fanatics ready to add new picks to their favorites list.
Huntington Beach Beer Festival 2016 brought together the best of the very best breweries in both SoCal and beyond. From thick and flavorful stouts to fruity ciders and refreshing Belgian beers, there was a brew to satisfy virtually any beer afficionado’s palate. At the event, top Huntington Beach favorites reigned, with Four Sons Brewery and BrewBakers stealing the show. The festivalgoers also flocked to the tents of Belching Beaver Brewery and beloved Orange County favorites Barley Forge Brewing Co., Valiant Brewing Company, and Bootlegger’s Brewery.
Nationally-recognized beer labels like Lagunitas, Alaskan Brewing Co., and Goose Island Beer Co. were also very popular at the event. In addition to the 100+ beer samples all of the attendees got to indulge in, there were also fabulous musical acts to experience. Everyone loved jamming out to Los Angeles rockers Noise Pollution, whose shows present a riveting, chronological look into the music of AC/DC. The festivalgoers also raved about Weezerton (a tribute to Weezer) and DJ Luca, a popular SoCal EDM/house DJ who strives to create a unique and refreshing musical experience that is all about good vibes.
Just like last year, Huntington Beach Beer Festival proved to be the top Orange County craft brewery marketing event of Summer 2016. It gave both beer startups and nationally renowned brands the opportunity to connect with hoards of excited beer lovers and market their new brews, which would later result in invaluable word-of-mouth referrals. The festival was also an excellent space for the breweries to network with each other and share insight on the state of the ever-booming beer industry.
