Celebrity Marketing Success: MAXIM Throws A Star-Studded Soiree for Super Bowl 2017

With Super Bowl LI taking place over the weekend, brands raced to sponsor celebrity football fiestas both in Texas and Tinseltown. Out of all the star-studded soirees taking place nationwide, the one that stole the spotlight was undoubtedly the 2017 MAXIM Super Bowl Party. Taking place the Smart Financial Centre in Sugarland, Texas, the A-list party was presented by Thomas J. Henry and produced by Karma InternationalFergie, Ludacris, and Kendra Wilkinson were just a few of the A-listers in attendance.

The luxe affair had a stellar talent line-up, including hip hop recording artist Travis Scott, DNCE, and a set by DJ Khaled. Featuring strolling performers, aerialists, and artistic vignettes, the electrifying party was the perfect fusion of art, fashion, music and sports. There were many immersive activations, including a Monster Energy FMX Motorcycle Show and the Monster Energy Lounge that provided tasty energy drinks. MAXIM also hosted the “2017 MAXIM Party ARt Exhibit” experience powered by Aireal, where there was 3D painted art that users could interact with via the 2017 MAXIM Party ARt Exhibit mobile app.

Guests also enjoyed sipping on Bud Light, the official beer of the NFL, as well as specialty cocktails by Absolut Elyx and Tequila Avíon. GH Mumm and Perrier Jouet also provided superior bubbly for champagne lovers. Partygoers also loved how Zippo had an on-site “Zippo Car” so they could take fun and frisky photos. Zippo also created custom, one-of-a-kind MAXIM Party lighters for celebrities, influencers and VIPs. A-listers also came to the party in Cadillac’s finest vehicles and The Jewel Nightclub from Aria Resort Las Vegas facilitated bringing Travis Scott to the soiree.

As a charitable initiative, proceeds benefitted the Tree Media Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to educating the public on environmental issues. In support of Tree Media Foundation, New Orleans visual artist Randy Leo Frenchette, better known as “Frenchy”, painted live on-site and auctioned off his captivating artwork. Fashion vignettes were elegantly presented by Lyndon London & Danny Nguyen Couture and guests also enjoyed sampling Max’s Wine Dive and delightful desserts by Sprinkles Cupcakes, macarons by Patisse, and Frost 321 Spiked Ice Cream.

The MAXIM Super Bowl Party 2017 provided the perfect space for top celebrities and influencers to toast to the big game and connect with buzzworthy lifestyle brands. All of the event sponsors could also interact with A-listers one-on-one and receive their valuable opinions, which are extraordinarily effective in generating publicity and brand awareness.
