If the user experience of your website or app is something that has been on your mind, then you are right to consider it an important part of your business and make it a priority. Taking some time to think about your design and considering how you are going to use it in order to get the results you want can help you to make big changes with your site or app.

Here are four design elements you are going to want to make sure to include in your product design.

1. Color Scheme

Which colors you choose for your brand can say a lot about it and which kinds of users you want to attract. While it might not seem like color would have much of an effect, the truth is that it can come to define your entire brand. One way to decide which colors could work with your needs is to consider who will be using your app or website the most. Find a color scheme that is associated with those users and make sure it’s used when UX design companies are creating your designs.

2. Buttons

You might not have thought twice about the buttons you click on in applications or online, but they can be incredibly useful tools when it comes to directing your users to complete actions. You can test some of your buttons and how they function by utilizing an app design software. When you are testing, you can see if your users end up completing the actions you want them to or if you will need to redesign them so that your users end up buying your product, sharing it, and more.

3. Imagery

Not all sites and applications are going to use imagery, but those that are definitely need some consistency when it comes to what you include in your design. If you want to show yourself as an edgy brand, then you will need to find images that match that accordingly. This is where having a quality designer can help you a lot when it comes to your branding and how you want to appear to your users. It might require looking into having a photoshoot in order to create those images that you want specifically for your company.

4. Animations

Animations are becoming more and more popular for UI systems. Not only are they entertaining and grab the attention of the user, but they can also be highly effective in encouraging them to take further action. You will often see animations on wait screens or on homepages as ways to keep someone on that page for a little longer than for the time they might normally spend.

In Summary

Design can be the number one thing that gets your site or app the attention it deserves. With these elements included, you are likely to see a lot more engagement from your users and they are much more likely to stay on your app or website.
