Dana is a practicing Cosmetology Expert Witness on beauty salon and spa products, processes, procedures, policies and standards, and state regulations. An award-winning professional, she has held positions as a global beauty expert, school owner, salon owner, market and research development strategist, salon trainer, International industry educator, and print and media publication contributor.
As the founder and CEO of the Nail and Skin Institute, Dana has strived to bring a “science-based and trend forward” approach to her school. Her vision and commitment to the success of her endeavors and extensive knowledge of the beauty industry have enabled her to give her students the best possible hands-on training available.
Long Island Nail & Skin Care Institute is a beauty school providing license and certifications a variety of programs including esthetics, nails, waxing, make up, laser hair removal, and advance esthetics to women ages 17-60 interested in becoming beauty experts. Long Island Nail & Skin Care Institute was started more than 20 years ago. It was just a nail school and has grown into turning inspiring beauty experts into licensed beauty technicians in Long Island, New York. We are certified by the New York Department of Education and offer flexible schedules and financial aid for qualified applicants.
