The 87th annual Academy Awards ceremony was filled with triumphant wins, jaw-dropping red carpet fashions, and meaningful acceptance speeches centered on family and equality. On Saturday, Home Business Magazine commemorated the year’s biggest night in cinema at THE must-attend gifting fête of Oscars 2015 weekend: the GBK Academy Awards Luxury Lifestyle Gift Lounge, held at L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills. At the lavish celebration, presented by Stop Attack (an assault-response phone application), rapper Machine Gun Kelly, American Sniper actor Keir O’Donnelly, and Guardians of the Galaxy star Melia Kreiling sampled tasty sweet treats and received extravagant gifts.
Beauty sponsors stole the show at the luxury gift suite. The stars received a range of Jonathon Hair Care’s must-have hair products, basicare‘s exclusively developed beauty kits, and natural hand-cut soap bars and skin polish from Beauty Kitchen by Heather Marianna. The stars also went gaga over the gift lounge’s jewelry and fashion booths. Everyone loved the handmade Bands for Arms bracelets crafted from military uniforms, Blaze Clothiers‘ trendy premium casual wear, and Hazel & Harmony’s stunningly beautiful bracelets featuring gemstones with meaning and a corresponding hashtag matching the intention of the stones. Food and drink sponsors also kept everyone happy and satiated the event. At the booth for Each Mind Matters, California’s Mental Health Movement working to advance mental well being, Home Business Magazine chatted with rapper Machine Gun Kelly. He was happy to share his top picks for the 2015 Academy Awards.
“I love the script for Birdman, because I thought that was so well written,” the renowned rapper said. “I also loved the story of Whiplash as well.”
MGK went on to share what he is currently working on.
“I just did a Showtime pilot with Cameron Crowe. We are hoping that that goes to series,” he shared. “My second album also drops this summer and I’m releasing my first single this month. I’m really excited about it.”
He also shared where he pulls his inspiration for his songs from.
“I pull my inspiration from my moods and the way that life feels at the time that I decide to write.“

At the booth for the Stop-Attack app, an invaluable personal protection resource, Home Business Magazine caught up with American Sniper star Keir O’Donnelly. He chatted about his favorite booths at the GBK gift suite.
“I feel so overwhelmed by everything!” Keir said. “I really like the Wonderwoof tracker for your dog. I have a dog and I actually just got a DNA test done for her, which I am pretty excited about. I’m going to find out her background and then track her wherever she goes.”
The talented actor also shared what it was like working on the Oscar-nominated movie, American Sniper.
“It was remarkable…amazing! Such a highlight for my life and my career. It was incredible working with Clint Eastwood and the response to the movie has been overwhelming. It’s wild,” he said.
And what is he currently working on?
“Right now I am shooting the Fargo TV series for FX up in Calgary. I’m doing the second season of the show,” Keir said.
While browsing the booths, Guardians of the Galaxy star Melia Kreiling also chatted about her experience at the GBK Luxury Lifestyle Lounge.
“I loved it! You get a lot of fun free stuff, which is always a pleasure!”
And what is the talented actress currently working on?
“I just finished shooting a film called DXM, which is coming out in a couple of months,” she shared.
She also shared what it was like working on Guardians of the Galaxy.
“Amazing! It was fantastic,” the actress said. “James Gunn is phenomenal and I got to be pink, which was great!” [laughs]
