These days, employers care so much about implementing new systems, setting goals and creating a positive workplace culture.
All of this is great.
However, a good employer should think about improving working conditions in the first place. Things such as a lack of natural light and fresh air can negatively affect the productivity of the whole team.
So, if you don’t feel productive at work, stop blaming yourself. The reason for it might be hiding inside of your office. This is what happens when you have poor working conditions:
Lack of energy
If you feel tired at work, you have to improve your sleep and diet. Also, start taking more breaks and drink more water.
Another important thing is to air out your office regularly and make sure you have access to natural light.
Poor vision
It’s been proven that a desk job can damage employees’ eyes. It usually happens due to a lack of proper breaks. If you are required to work at a computer for more than three hours per day, consider adjusting the screen brightness and using the 20-20-20 rule.
Other than that, you will also need to make an appointment with an eye doctor so that they can recommend you the right type of computer glasses. You can make them stylish and jazz them up with nike frames.
Chronic shoulder pain
If you feel shoulder pain after every day spent at work, consider developing better posture. To do so, make sure your lower back and elbows are supported. Also, your shoulders should be relaxed while you are working.
You might also need to ask your employer for a better desk and chair. There are many types of ergonomic furniture available on the market. Adjusting your workspace will help you get rid of chronic shoulder pain and be more productive.
