If an event production company wants to orchestrate a successful and unforgettable large-scale show, it is pertinent to include breathtaking production elements. Just ask Sound in Motion, the top Twin Cities EDM events production company. Last weekend, they brought Virtual Self (the new alias of world-renowned DJ Porter Robinson) to The Armory in Minneapolis. His set’s dynamic production components resulted in a truly enthralling show.
Everything about Virtual Self’s set was incredible, from his robust entrance to the captivating and colorful laser display that flashed and moved along to the beats. Virtual Self enchanted the audience from the moment he took the stage and kept the large crowd of electronic dance music lovers mesmerized the entire time. In multiple moments throughout the set, the crowd was left completely awestruck as colorful lasers circled around and enclosed Virtual Self. It was a really magnificent sight to witness.
Like their many other events, Sound in Motion did a superb job of getting the word out about the Virtual Self show via their social media. They announced the show with posts on Facebook in July and Instagram in August, which resulted in a multitude of likes, comments, and shares. Then the company put on special ticket giveaways where lucky fans could win a pair of tickets by liking and commenting on the posts. This promotional tactic really drove word-of-mouth buzz and got the local EDM scene psyched to attend.
The Virtual Self show brought a lot of business to The Armory and helped the Twin Cities music scene celebrate a summer of incredible EDM courtesy of Sound in Motion. Sound in Motion also made sure local EDM lovers have many shows to look forward to all autumn, including Infected Mushroom at Skyway Theatre on Oct. 19th, Seven Lions at The Armory on Oct. 27th, and REZZ at The Armory on Halloween. These shows will give aspiring EDM lifestyle entrepreneurs an inside look into the key elements of successful large-scale shows.
