Autumn is always a lovely season filled with trips to local pumpkin patches, afternoons at apple orchards, and… spooktacular Halloween festivities! One large-scale music event took over The Armory in downtown Minneapolis during Halloween weekend and attracted a huge crowd of costumed trap music lovers: Sound in Motion’s NGHTMRE on 6th Street show. This show was definitely one that no nightlife enthusiast wanted to miss!
Sound in Motion always brings the most sought-after EDM events to the Twin Cities, and the NGHTMRE on 6th Street show was nothing short of enthralling. Featuring sets by trap music heavy-hitter NGHTMRE, Knife Party, and Good Times Ahead b2b 4B, the show was an absolute treat for local bass music enthusiasts. All of the pre-performers got the enormous crowd amped up before NGHTMRE took over the turn-tables and proved why he is a force to be reckoned with in the trap music scene.
The orchestration of the event was flawless, but just as notable was all of the pre-event promotional activities. As always, Sound in Motion’s social media marketing in particular was calculated and highly effective at growing mass awareness of the event. They posted an announcement + giveaway on Facebook and Instagram on July 27th, as well as multiple other ticket giveaways in the months following. These social media posts were highly effective at generating buzz about the event.
Sound in Motion’s NGHTMRE on 6th Street show was a total hit, and they have a ton of other exciting events at The Armory to look forward to. Some shows that are creating a ton of buzz are Above & Beyond on Nov. 24th, three nights of Illenium shows from December 10-12, and their Lights All Night events for NYE from December 30-31. These events would make fantastic brand marketing opportunities for lifestyle companies that want to grow their awareness in the Twin Cities market.
