Finding beauty products that are universally effective is, no doubt, a challenge for every woman on Earth. Women of color in particular often find it difficult to find beauty resources under one roof that match their unique skin tone and persona. Fortunately, someone realized this void and came up with an innovative idea that creates a bespoke experience for Black beauty enthusiasts. Nauje Change, an advertising professional turned Chicago entrepreneur, is the mastermind behind Beaudentity, a dynamic app that is taking the Black beauty world by storm.
Nauje Change’s Career History
Prior to launching the app, Nauje Change worked as an advertising professional for beauty brands. During the course, she found that the beauty resources she wanted did not exist. Her passion for makeup and beauty guided her to a new path of being an entrepreneur. In order to fill this gap in the beauty industry that others have overlooked, she began to develop a platform where African American women could celebrate the beauty of their identity through shopping Black-owned beauty businesses. In 2018, she revealed Beaudentity to the world. Her app presents beauty products from Black-owned brands and retailers.
Nauje’s Inspiration to Launch Beaudentity
According to Nauje, this unique concept was born at a place where necessity met her own personal passion. She has been a huge supporter of Black businesses and consistently experiments with beauty styles. Over time, she realized the scarcity of well-rounded resources to identify Black-owned beauty brands and products that worked for her unique curl pattern and shade of melanin. When she couldn’t locate the resources she sought, she started to create it. This is when she came up with the idea of creating an app like Beaudentity.
About Beaudentity – A New Must-Have Beauty App for Black Women
Beaudentity is an app that highlights products from beauty retailers that are Black-owned or sell Black-owned brands. The app also includes makeup tutorials, product rеviеwѕ for natural hair, and the scoop on the latest bеаutу lооkѕ аnd trеnds. In order to empower Black-owned businesses and brands, Beaudentity provides a cash back program that rewards users when they buy products from them.
