Home-Based Business Brings Spanish and English Together With Music And Movement Fun
By Home Business Magazine
Never did Beth Butler imagine that her high school Spanish and experience as an exchange student in Chile would provide her with the foundation for creating her own company later in life!
Beth was born in the United States, earned a teaching degree, and combined her love of Spanish as her second language with her passion for teaching to create a home-based business, Boca Beth LLC.
Beth’s home-based business brings Spanish and English together with music and movement fun via its CDs, DVDs, books, puppets and musical shakers. “It is easy for any monolingual parent and teacher to give the gift of a second language to children ages birth to eight with our Boca Beth integrated product line,” says Beth.
New parents, homeschooling parents, and early childhood educators are Beth’s target market, and she uses word of mouth, social marketing, and live events such as early childhood conferences and homeschooling conventions to get the word out about her company’s quality bilingual product line.
Beth recalls being notified that her bilingual product line had been listed on the US Department of Education’s linked web site called OELA (Office of English Language Acquisition). That was one of the highlights of starting her Boca Beth bilingual product line.
Running a business from home for almost seven years has helped Beth to keep costs down on the overhead side to allow for more production of new products to keep up with customers’ suggestions and demands. Beth listens to Boca Beth customers, and produces products that fit the needs of their children.
“Each time I am in product development mode, I am more thankful for a home-based business in order to work in the middle of the night when the family and the rest of the world is sleeping so that I might get my thoughts and ideas out on paper before the madness begins!” says Beth. “It’s been an amazing journey of raising three children as I grow my Boca Beth business, and my family has witnessed conceptualization stage all the way to bringing the product to market.”
Beth’s plan is to be on every Target educational toy store shelf across the United States. In her words, “Happy Educating! ¡Sea feliz educando!” Visit www.BocaBeth.com.
