Throwing buzzworthy events filled with tasty eats, drinks, and riveting live bands is the ultimate way for restaurants to connect with their community. Smack Shack in Minneapolis did just that over the weekend, as they orchestrated their annual, must-attend Crayfest summer bash. At this exciting event, hundreds of locals got to enjoy a delectable all-you-can-eat crawfish broil, brats, local beers, and so much more!
Just like last year, Crayfest 2018 dominated the Twin Cities social scene and was the one event no one wanted to miss. Throughout the day, everyone indulged in trays of savory crawfish, corn, and potatoes, as well as delicious brats and burgers. Attendees also had a blast rocking out to performances by local Twin Cities bands like Davina and The Vagabonds, Viva Knievel, Appetite For Zaccardi, and STEELING DAN! Even though there was a little rain, it was the perfect atmosphere for locals to celebrate summer.
No event is complete without an array of beverages to choose from, and Crayfest definitely did not disappoint! Beer lovers were able to enjoy flavorful brews from Pacifico Beer and Third Street Brewhouse (of Cold Spring, MN), as well as beloved Minneapolis breweries like Fulton Beer, Fair State Brewing Cooperative, Modist Brewing Company, and Sociable Cider Werks. There were also flavorful, all-you-can-drink Hurricanes made with Bayou Rum!
In all, Crayfest 2018 was a fantastic experience that gave Twin Cities foodies, influencers, and socialites the chance to connect and taste some of Smack Shack’s mouthwatering eats.
