Lifelong artist and interior decorator, Sarah Gibson Wiley, has a passion for preserving and honoring the special moments in life, which led to the creation of Huger Memories in 2012 – a collection of custom works of art that ensure any precious moment or valued possession is preserved and passed along for generations.

As an artist and storyteller, Sarah ‘seamlessly’ combines the classic monogrammed style with the sentimentality and character of a unique memory. From pillows to framed-art, Huger Memories captures people, pets, special rooms and places, invitations, family portraits, and houses in a singular, highly stylized way. These storytelling pieces are all hand drawn from a customer’s photos or ideas, then machine stitched on hand-cut applique, to create authentic pieces that emote special feelings and create lasting memories.
Huger Memories’ current offerings include, but are not limited to:
Custom Announcements ($225-$300): A new baby, wedding, or 50th anniversary can each be cleverly interpreted into a pillow or hung on your wall.
- Custom Pet Portraits ($225 with an extra charge for multiple pets): Immortalize your faithful furry friend with a portrait. Simply send Sarah a photo and she’ll customize your beloved companion as a pillow or framed piece of art.
Custom Children’s Drawings ($225): Capture the talent or your budding Van Gogh or Georgia O’Keefe. Sarah will interpret special drawings and paintings into fabric.
- Custom Tea Towels ($145): Customize these time-honored linens with your own memories.
Custom Mini Memories ($95): These custom portraits are designed to pop into any 5″ x 7″ or 8″ x 10″ frame. Simpler than the normal custom portraits and designs, Mini Memories capture that special pet, person or place in a time you want to always remember.
