Memorial Day Weekend is finally here! This weekend is always packed with countless exciting events nationwide. In the Twin Cities area, Rhymesayers (a distinguished indie hip hop music label in Minneapolis) is turning up the fun and presenting the annual Soundset Music Festival. Taking place at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on Sunday, May 26, this event will feature big name headliners like Atmosphere, Lil Wayne, SZA, and G-Eazy.
In addition to the many top-rate performers, esteemed brands will also have a major presence at the festival. From engaging activations to sponsored booths and stages, there are so many ways for brands to get involved in music festivals. Soundset 2019 will feature nationally renowned brand sponsors like Monster Energy, Tito’s Vodka, Bud Light, and Sparkling Ice. Local Twin Cities companies are also getting involved, such as the Go 95.3 Modern Hip Hop Station and the popular Fifth Element store in Uptown Minneapolis.
Other must-see headliners include DMX, Prof, Dem Atlas, Trippie Redd, Beast Coast, and Doja Cat. Other experiences include a Familia skateboard showdown, a bboy/bgirl invitational, a Go 95.3 Shut Up and Rap stage, and a custom car show. This event is sure to be one for the books, so definitely plan to attend if you are in the Twin Cities area! Gates open at 11am and the first performance is at noon.
