There’s no doubt that the worldwide event production industry was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Festivals and concerts were canceled left and right, and everyone wondered when society would return to “normal”. Luckily, mask and social-distancing restrictions have ended in many regions and event production companies are back to putting on shows! One such company revamping the Twin Cities’ nightlife is Sound in Motion, who just put on a successful Louis the Child show at The Armory in downtown Minneapolis.
Sound in Motion did a phenomenal job of making sure that all attendees abided by their COVID-19 protocols to ensure a safe show for everyone. Every attendee had to show proof of vaccination or a negative coronavirus test, which helped give everyone peace of mind. The show itself was also a wonderful experience for all of the concert-starved attendees who had been itching to see a music show since the start of the pandemic.
All of the attendees were in high spirits and jumped up and down to the music with glee. One of the show’s opening acts, Whethan, amped up the ecstatic crowd with his powerful set. After him, Louis the Child took to the turntables and proved why they are such heavy hitters in the EDM scene. Their set was the perfect fusion of beautiful melodies and heavy bass drops. The perfectly synced laser and light production also kept the crowd mesmerized right until the very last second of the show.
The folks at Sound in Motion are leading the Twin Cities EDM scene and have other upcoming shows at The Armory that are causing a lot of buzz, including Deadbeats Tour Featuring Zeds Dead on September 10th, Seven Lions on October 2nd, Porter Robinson on October 8th and San Holo on October 22nd. If you own a lifestyle company and want to grow your brand awareness in the Twin Cities, consider sponsoring one of these shows.
