Over the weekend, today’s hottest stars descended upon the Indio, California area for Coachella Music & Arts Festival 2019. Popular brands also joined the fun and helped put on exclusive parties for the many celebrities in the desert for the weekend. The most coveted ticket was undoubtedly for Neon Carnival 2019, presented by Levi’s® Brand, Australian self tanning brand Bondi Sands, and the new film, POKÉMON Detective Pikachu.
Conceived by LA’s original nightlife maven, Brent Bolthouse, Neon Carnival is always the most-anticipated Coachella fête for the upper echelon in the entertainment industry. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, this year’s Neon Carnival was bigger and better than ever and was held at the HITS Desert Park in Thermal, California. It was a massive playground of excitement spanning three football fields! This year’s event attracted A-list guests like Leonardo DiCaprio, 2 Chainz, Janelle Monae, RJ Mitte, and Paris Hilton.
Celebrities had a blast checking out the brand marketing activations around Neon Carnival 2019. There was a fun Levi’s® Brand photobooth and the Bondi Sands self-tanning brand entered the U.S. market by activating a fully branded bumper car installation and water balloon game. There was also an LG Mobile Experience showcasing their new smartphones: the LG G8 ThinQ and the LG V50 ThinQ. Influencers engaged with these phones with an ASMR Sound Studio, PentaShot Photo Platform, and a Dual Display Gaming Zone.
At the party, HEIMAT Los Angeles also hosted an integrated VIP lounge experience for celebrities. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures also celebrated the first-ever live-action Pokémon movie, POKÉMON Detective Pikachu (set for worldwide release beginning May 10th). Attendees got to enjoy an electrifying POKÉMON Detective Pikachu themed Ferris Wheel and the chance to catch a fun Instagram photo op with the popular Pokémon.
Golden Road Brewery (a Los Angeles beer staple) also provided a customized freight container for attendees to catch up in while sampling their esteemed brews. Amidst dancing to exhilarating sets by Hollywood heavy hitter DJs Kayper, DJ Ruckus and special guest performer A-Trak (founder of the Fool’s Gold record label), revelers also stayed hydrated with Penta Water. Future Party, a new-media company and digital platform for creative leaders, also helped curate this year’s celebrity-heavy guestlist.
