Throughout Coachella 2018 Weekend 1, stars flocked to red carpet parties taking place all over the Palm Springs area. All of these VIP events were celebrity marketing cash cows for their brand sponsors. One such soiree attracted many A-listers: the “Powered Paradise In The Desert’ fête hosted by Poppy Nightclub, in partnership with Kylie Cosmetics and BMW i. At this Friday night party, stars celebrated the launch of Pizza Boys Radio on Apple Music’s Beats 1 and the new “KOURT X KYLIE” collection by Kylie Cosmetics.
The celebrity sightings were endless at Poppy’s exclusive, invite-only soiree. Big names like Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, G-Eazy, Halsey, and Post Malone, were all seen partying it up. Kylie Jenner made her first public appearance since giving birth while Kendall Jenner mastered the DJ booth. Travis Scott also put on a surprise performance to support Kylie’s new “KOURT X KYLIE” makeup collection. Stars also took in DJ sets by Diplo and Chantel Jeffries as well as a live performance by Lil Wayne.
The celebrity guests also enjoyed sipping on exquisite spirits by Absolut Elyx, Perrier Jouët & Avión Tequila. Throughout the night, the star attendees also enjoyed unique activations by Influence.Co (a platform where influencers share their best work), Epic Agency, and Skydeck Experiences. If the guests got hungry at all, there were food trucks offering tasty pizza, delectable gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, and more.
In addition to the party taking place on Friday, Poppy Nightclub (in partnership with BMW i) hosted the ultimate Coachella daytime party destination on Sunday: BMW i’s ‘Recharge Oasis’. At this exclusive poolside fête, guests revitalized with Kombucha on tap and were pampered with massages. They also enjoyed special DJ sets by Chantel Jeffries, EC Twins, Cutsnake, and Beefowl while sipping on Absolut Lime cocktails and Perrier Jouët.
Poppy Nightclub, BMW i, and Kylie Cosmetics did an excellent job in tying their brands to the prestige of the annual Coachella Music & Arts Festival. Their events provided invaluable opportunities for brand sponsors to connect with today’s most buzzed about celebrity stars and influencers. There’s no doubt that the ‘Powered Paradise In The Desert’ party and recharge oasis will both go down in the books as two of the top must-attend celebrity functions of Coachella 2018 Weekend 1.
