Music festival season is such an opportune time for brand marketing, as it gives companies the chance to promote their offerings to swarms of consumers. Every spring and summer, major brands race to sponsor the most buzzed-about music festivals happening all over the country. This just happened last weekend at the inaugural Minnesota Yacht Club Festival, which took place on Harriet Island Regional Park in St. Paul. Gwen Stefani later took to the main stage and got the crowd dancing and singing along to top hit after top hit (including “Rich Girl” and “Hollaback Girl”). Alanis Morissette closed out the night with an outstanding performance that proved why she will always be a rock legend. Festival-goers were seen singing their hearts out to “You Learn” and her other top hits.
Day 2 was also chock-full of incredible bands and artists. Earlier in the day, Soul Asylum and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue put on remarkable performances that helped get the crowd amped up for the main headliners. Later on, Gary Clark Jr. wowed the crowd with his impressive guitar riffs and captivating songs. The Offspring then put on a thrilling, unforgettable show featuring major hits like “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)”. Red Hot Chili Peppers closed out the night and got everyone singing along to their greatest hits, such as “Californication”.

Brand activations & booths were put on by CHASE Bank, GHOST energy drinks, Mamitas tequila seltzer, Satellite industries, Stateside Vodka Soda, Surly Brewing Co., and White Claw. Owen’s Craft Mixers served up tasty mocktails and other brands in attendance were Traveller Whiskey and Surfside Iced Tea & Vodka. These sponsors enhanced the whole music festival experience.
