Over the years, tattoo artistry has blown up as a lucrative career option for creative minds. Tattoo artists are essentially entrepreneurs running their own businesses, as they rent out chairs at tattoo parlors and execute marketing strategies like managing booths at tattoo conventions. One such event is taking place in SoCal from March 17-19, which no tattoo enthusiast or music lover wants to miss: Travis Barker’s 10th Annual Musink Tattoo Convention & Music Festival, held at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA.
This weekend, thousands of tattoo and rock/punk music fanatics will swarm the OC Fair & Event Center to see showcases by 100s of world-renowned tattoo artists and get new ink. Attendees will also be treated to stellar rock and punk performances by The Used, Hell Or Highwater, NOFX, The Vandals, Story of the Year, Bad Religion, Pennywise, and more.
