Many know Stephanie Pratt for her starring role on the hit UK reality show Made In Chelsea, but the TV personality is now making waves in the jewelry industry. On Tuesday, July 29th, Stephanie celebrated the U.S. launch of the brand new jewelry collection she designed for MeMe London. At the intimate affair, held at DiLAscia in West Hollywood, Stephanie toasted to the new collection with her former The Hills costar (and big brother) Spencer Pratt, his wife, Heidi Montag, and a bevy of fashion aficionados.
Al of the attendees enjoyed browsing the impressive jewelry display while sipping on tasty cocktails from VEEV Spirits and indulging in succulent donuts. There’s no doubt that Stephanie’s new MeMe London collection is sure to be popular with all chic trendsetters. Featuring colorful beaded bracelets accented with silver charms, glittering jeweled rings, classy long statement necklaces, and jewel-encrusted dangling earrings, the collection is the perfect mix of flirty and elegant. Other notable pieces were colorful leather rope bracelets embellished with silver and gold chains.
At the MeMe London launch, Home Business Magazine had the chance to catch up with Stephanie Pratt and get the inside scoop on her new collection.
“MeMe London is a line in the UK,” she shared. “It has been out for seven months, so it is not even a year old. I first heard about it because they asked me to do a charity charm back in March. I had so much fun designing one that I ended up doing a sack of three. They really liked the designs and brought me on as a designer. I thought to myself, ‘This company is so amazing and has so many bright and summery L.A. elements. It should definitely be in L.A.’ They also agreed that MeMe London should launch in America, so I invested in the company and now we’re bringing them here!”
Stephanie went on to chat about being on Made In Chelsea.
“It’s just like The Hills,” She said. “It’s a lot of fun!”
She also chatted about other projects she is currently working on.
“The tenth season of Made In Chelsea starts on August 5th and I have my memoir coming out on the 14th of August,” Stephanie said.
Heidi Montag also stopped by to share what she and Spencer, who was hobbling on a cane due to a Jiu-Jitsu injury, have been up to since their successful run on The Hills.
“I actually just had arm surgery!” Heidi said. “That’s kind of been my big summer event. The tendon tore off the bone during Crossfit. I was working out too hard and I think I just over-did it. They had to cut it off and re-sew it back on.”
She went on to chat about how her summer has been.
“It’s been an intense summer for sure,” she said. “I had the surgery in May and am just able to get out of the house now and really be okay. Now we are here supporting Stephanie’s MeMe London launch, which is exciting! We will obviously miss her when she goes back to London to film Made In Chelsea. Right now we are also working with a comedienne, Deena Jacobs.”
Heidi also shared some exciting news for the fall!
“We were going to start trying for a baby,” Heidi revealed. “My friend, Rachel, told me, ‘If you get pregnant in the fall, you have nine months for your arm to get better!’ I thought that that sounded pretty good!’”
