Winter in Minneapolis can cold, brutal, dark, and isolating. In the middle of December, it is critical to make moves to ward off the seasonal depression creeping up. Concerts and other music events are the perfect way for music enthusiasts to get together, get moving, uplift the spirits and experience a once-in-a-lifetime musical performance. Sound in Motion helped fight off the seasonal depression when they brought LSDREAM around to The Armory in Minneapolis for the last night of his R.A.V.E. Tour. As the premiere production company for EDM music concerts in the Twin Cities, Sound in Motion successfully and with ease orchestrated the intricate audiovisual experience concertgoers can expect at an LSDREAM show. Home Business Magazine had the opportunity to attend this one-of-a-kind EDM concert experience and we left with enough happy memories to last all through winter.
The epic night started out with Chmura taking the stage to warm up all the concertgoers just walking in. Chmura brings a unique take on bass music with his layering of deep wubs with crunchy harmonies to create a melody that truly makes the crowd feel “groovy”. Next up on the stage was Zingara, a rising DJ star with a booming social media presence. She brought a genre-bending music set that connected with the spiritual side of the sold-out crowd. The final opener was INZO, an ecclectic EDM artist who specializes in a blend of heart-pounding bass, transcendent synths, and nostalgic vocal samples. His set created a high vibration that helped amplify the good feelings amongst the crowd. These openers set the precedent for a life-changing night.
Finally, LSDREAM took the stage to his sold-out crowd that was mentally, emotionally, and spiritually ready for a mesmerizing set. LSDREAM put on a 90 minute set filled with ethereal glitchy drops, emotional breaks, and mind-numbing bass. He also had a unique light and laser system that that was the epitome of “never let them know your next move” with the crisp lasers and lighting illuminating every direction around the room. Combined with the detailed visuals reflecting LSDREAM’s love for sci-fi illustrations and video game landscapes, this was a show only fit for a top-notch production company like Sound in Motion. The sold-out crowd was in for a trippy treat with this transcendent show that pushed vibrations to the max. LSDREAM truly gave it his all for the final show of his tour at The Armory.
