A beach mural on the wall of your home office will relax your mind and give you the feeling of warm weather. It will be pleasing to viewers whenever they gaze upon it. You can acquire this feeling in your workspace by painting beautiful beach murals on the walls of your office, bedroom, or even in your bathroom.  If you feel that you are personally not creative enough to do so and do not have enough time to spare in the workday, then you can always hire a professional muralist for the project. They know the techniques and tricks necessary and will most likely do a better job than you.

If you have painting expertise and you want to give painting a mural a shot, it can be worth the effort. There is not much experience required sans an artistic touch. Here are some tips and tricks that entrepreneurs can use to paint stunning beach murals in their home offices.

Before You Get Ready

Before you even start painting, you must engage in basic preparation. First of all, choose the wall of the room where you want to paint the beach mural. Then it’s a good idea to take measurements so that you may find the proper design according to these measurements. Once you are done with the measuring, you must think about cleaning the wall. Cleaning the wall properly is a good idea. It will give you a smooth surface to paint on. Take a duster and remove all the dust from the wall. If there’s an uneven surface, try to repair it so that you have an adequate surface for your interesting beach murals.

Once cleaning and repairing are done, you can cover the portions of the wall with tape or paper where you don’t want paint to end up. Now that you have taking these precautions, you are ready to begin the job.

Projection or Freehand?

If you don’t have any in-depth drawing skills, then you can use a trick to draw like a pro. You can get the preferred image projected on the wall. That will make it easier for you to draw whatever you want. You can find your ideal image and have it projected on the wall, and you will feel like a pro muralist once the sketch is complete.

However, if you don’t have a projector at home, you can try the freehand style as well. It won’t require any top-level skills to draw interesting beach murals on the wall, but you should have some inclination towards drawing. Now it’s time to paint. You can use a painting gun or regular brushes depending on your skills. Start with the basic colors. The bottom of the beach mural will tend to be the sand color. Choose the lighter shade first and use it as the base color for the sandy portion of the mural design. Once you are done with the sand, the second color should be the color of the sky. Give your sky portion a pretty base color. Once you are done with these steps, you are almost there. You can say you have completed about 25% of the task.

Add Details

Once you have painted both of these colors, it’s time to add details to these colors. The first thing which is most common to paint in all interesting beach murals is a palm or date tree. Draw a single tree or a bunch of trees. Add basic colors and then move to the next objects. Now keep adding details such as a jumping dolphin, a boat, etc., and then your beautiful beach mural will be ready.
