In an effort to assist those less fortunate, on Nov. 28, Wells Fargo launched a nationwide Holiday Food Bank campaign on Good Morning America to help make more meals possible for those in need this holiday season.
Using their immense network, which includes 5,900 retail branches, major hubs and 268,000 team members, the Wells Fargo Holiday Food Bank’s cornerstone includes collecting nonperishable goods for those in need at their branch locations and at mobile pop-up food banks in 17 cities to include Minneapolis.
Their mobile pop-up food bank moved from its Minneapolis East Town location where it had been for three days to the Wells Fargo WinterSkate rink at Loring Park for Holidazzle.
The holidays are a time for coming together in fellowship with friends and family. Yet one in seven Americans depend on food pantries and meal programs.
Here is the remaining schedule for the Wells Fargo pop-up mobile food bank in Minneapolis:
Dec. 2 – Wells Fargo Minneapolis WinterSkate at Loring Park — 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Dec. 3 – Minnesota Gophers Men’s and Women’s Basketball games at Williams Arena — 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
After Sunday, the pop-up mobile food bank will travel to Des Moines, Iowa. They will still be collecting nonperishable food at their branch locations through Dec. 30 across Minnesota.
