Tali K. Gadish, Founder and CEO of the Library of Miss Gadish, developed her love of children’s educational content early in life. As the two-year-old daughter of non-English-speaking immigrants to the US, she learned the language through children’s favourites such as Sesame Street, The Muppets, Mr. Rogers and Reading Rainbow. She remains a huge fan to this day! After graduating from the prestigious Tisch School of Arts, Tali began her career with Dreamworks, moving on to ABC News. Further career progression took her to a division of Grey Global Group called ALLIANCE an entertainment marketing company, where she rose to the responsible position of divisional director. At Grey Tali’s clients included global brands such as Pantene, Infusium, Holiday Inn and Hasbro, while creative programmes led her to partner with content players like Seventeen Magazine, MTV, Atlantic Records, and more. A love of travel and a desire to see more of the world led Tali to become a global citizen, living in Switzerland, Canada, South Africa, France, and Israel, where she met and married her husband, Jonathan. She continued to work as a freelance graphic designer and marketing strategist for brands such as Car2go, Merit Corp and Bellisima, after the birth of her first child, pulling a balancing act many working mums the world over will be familiar with! However, after the birth of her twins, Tali adopted a family focus and began to explore her passion for children’s stories and content. “Having spent many, many hours looking for digital children’s stories for my own children, I began to realise that very few were taking advantage of this medium and were not truly interactive, engaging and most importantly, fun – it felt like a missed opportunity to combine education and entertainment in a way that only this digital platform has to offer. This was the starting point on my wonderful journey to working with a fantastic and professional team to create the interactive library app of 'Miss Gadish'.” She noticed that most children’s apps lacked educational benefits, and resolved to provide children with a safe virtual world in which to play, learn, and develop a love of books and reading. With help from a team of talented artists and advice from professional educators and child psychologists, the interactive app ‘ The Library of Miss Gadish’ was born. Today, Tali has come full circle to pursue her first love: children’s content and children’s stories. She feels privileged every day to be able to provide parents and children with a learning tool that gives kids a head start on education, through fun.
