George Hooker

George Hooker is a Partner in Cole, Scott & Kissane’s Miami office. He co-manages the South Florida Property Group, which focuses on the defense of first-party property insurance claims, including handling the litigation of numerous water, sinkhole, fire, SIU fraud, and theft claims through trial. Additionally, George and the South Florida Property Group assist multiple carriers in many complex coverage matters, including conducting examinations under oath and preparing coverage opinions in both first-party and third-party claims. George also has extensive experience defending claims involving personal injuries, premises liability, and wrongful death, as well as other general liability issues. He is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Florida and Southern District of Florida. A member of the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the Florida Bar, he has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® for 2025.
