The start of a new year is always a time for reflection, positive changes, and… exciting New Year’s Eve celebrations! A few nights ago, music festivals all over the country brought thousands together to toast to a brand new year and decade. In the Twin Cities, the one bonanza everyone wanted to attend was Snowta NYE Music Festival. This spectacular 2-night event took place at The Armory in downtown Minneapolis on December 30th and 31st and featured sets by world-renowned bass music heavy hitters.
Snowta NYE 2019 featured two stages chock-full with some of the most renowned bass music DJs of our era. On Night 1, the Snowta Main Stage was hosted by DeadBeats (Zeds Dead’s record label). At this stage, revelers were treated to phenomenal sets by Zeds Dead, as well as Zomboy, G Jones, DROELOE, and 1788-L. The crowd at the second stage also enjoyed a masterful, live instrumental set by EOTO, as well as performances by K.L.O, dubstep sensation The Widdler, Tyro, and AfterParty.
The headliners were just as exceptional on Night 2 of the festival. The Main Snowta Stage featured an outstanding set by Dion Timmer, an über-popular Dutch DJ, as well as instrumental electronic music sets by Big Wild and Big Gigantic. The countdown to the New Year took place during Ganja White Night‘s incredible bass-heavy set, which also included a balloon drop to commemorate the start of Year 2020. At Stage 2, attendees also took in superb sets by popular bass music artists like Cookie Monsta and Doctor P.
Throughout the night, attendees who wanted a break from dancing and head-banging also enjoyed checking out live art installations. There were also activations and booths for both national and local brands. Red Bull had a fun, engaging photobooth activation that promoted their tasty plum-flavored Winter Edition energy drink. Festival-goers were also seen perusing the merchandise booth for Entheos Vibrations festival fashions.
In all, Snowta NYE 2019 was a magnificent event that brought thousands of bass music enthusiasts together for several joyous nights of celebration. All of the headliners dominated their sets, and brands were also able to market their offerings to thousands of passersby throughout the night. If you own or work for a lifestyle brand and are looking to expand in the Twin Cities market, sponsoring next year’s Snowta NYE festival would be invaluable for growing your brand awareness and customer reach.
