Network Marketing: An Answer to These Economic Times

Network Marketing Offers Low-Cost Start-Up Advantages

By Bess McCarty, Coach for Business and Life

In these times, many people wonder if they will be laid off, or how they will manage inflation or retirement. Some want a Plan B, and some have found one with network marketing. They may start a network marketing business as a backup while working, or upon retiring. Although there are challenges to multi-level-marketing businesses (MLMs), I’ve collected a list of advantages for those considering one.

Network marketing provides extra income to fight the cost of living which is growing faster than people’s cost of living raises.

Advantages

Answer to recession:
-Network marketing can provide job security backup in these uncertain times.
-You can grow a network marketing business while you keep your current one.
-There is no pressure to succeed within a certain time. You work at your pace.
-You can replace your current career with one you love.
-Some say there’s more job security working for yourself than working for someone else.

Answer to inflation:
-Network marketing provides extra income to fight the cost of living which is growing faster than people’s cost of living raises.
-With network marketing, there are low startup costs, low overhead, low risk, and low investment.
-Training is provided. Almost anyone can do network marketing.
-You can work from home, and save the environment, the cost of work clothes, and driving time.
-It allows parents to be home with their children, without childcare costs.
-It gives you freedom of time as you set your hours.
-It goes past the “work per hour or service” limited income model.
-Eventually, you can make more money in less time.
-Income and fulfillment are unlimited as there is no ceiling.

Answer for retirement:

-95% of retirees lack adequate funds.
-Seniors who need jobs are having a harder time finding them.
-Network marketing is the answer for aging parents who need more money.
-It provides a monthly income when you don’t have capital to invest: How long will it take you to save $50K to get $200 interest a month income from it, versus how long will it take you to build a $200 a month income from a network marketing business?

Security for illness:

-You keep getting paid by residual passive income.
-It is perfect for some disabled people who have phones and computers.

Other Advantages

-You gain freedom from negative work environments.
-Network marketing is your business. You create it the way you want.
-It operates by word of mouth — the best and cheapest form of advertising
-You grow by becoming a manager/coach and by helping others succeed, versus by making a profit from others’ low-income labor.
-It’s built on support versus competition.
-You have support as you change from employee thinking to business-owner thinking.
-You are not alone. You have a team to rely on.
-Network marketing is endorsed by Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump.
-Some have built network marketing empires (like Mary Kay).
-You can involve the whole family in network marketing, and teach good work values, habits, and vision.
-You can leave the network marketing business to your family in your will.
Along with these advantages, network marketers have their own unique challenges. Many network marketers see these challenges as avenues for personal growth, and they embrace the learning while enjoying the freedom. That’s why I like coaching them. HBM
