Felicity Nicole, Renowned Mentor for Midlife Women, Is the Best-Selling Author of Pieces of Me, and the Visionary Founder Behind the Empowering She Is You Brand
Looking back into her past, which baffles most people, Felicity has dedicated and transformed her life to impact many midlife women over the past decade. Felicity, having zero experience running a business or building a brand led her heart to a dream itching to come alive. Felicity’s transformation began eleven years ago, with a plan from God to follow her sole purpose of becoming a healer. Felicity did not know that this purpose would become so extensive, profound, and impact so many lives; that the rate of success she saw, in such a short amount of time, would blow her mind.
What began as a book sharing her life story, would turn into a blog, turned into a brand, which is precisely what Felicity did. She started with the result and worked backward to map her plan, adding mini milestones to keep her mindset positive. Felicity would learn to use setbacks as a learning experience, she never accepted failure as an excuse to quit, but as a motivator to try a different approach. When Felicity branded She Is You during COVID-19 in 2020, her little blog was dedicated to midlife women seeking reinvention, healing, and fulfillment. She had no idea her baby would become a physical magazine, alongside her number-one international author title, within a few years.
How did Felicity accomplish so much in such a short amount of time? Felicity’s approach to work and the obstacles faced are complete determination. She forged a path that would include building a solid business foundation: she applied for the USPTO for the branding name She Is You, and incorporated her business, and great attorneys led Felicity to start with the result and work backward. Contracts, non-compete clauses, NDAs, and everything else to begin bringing people on board. Felicity would learn that everything doesn’t always run smoothly and that the obstacles she encountered helped her to grow, challenge her, and not make her run from her dream.
Her business would have many transformational phases as she learned what worked and what did not. Felicity’s grassroots approach to getting the brand out there was ideal but very taxing at times. Marketing and advertising are costly, and you have to be mindful of where you want to spend your money. She learned to invest in online engagement and social media to drive traffic to her magazine. Felicity taught herself that perseverance, determination, and faith in God will eventually pay off, and it has.
Felicity’s journey has been one of trials and tribulations but she is a shining example of never giving up. Felicity now shares her story with others to inspire them to follow their dreams, that nothing is impossible with God, and a mindset to prove to herself that the once-high school dropout can be successful, regardless of what people shared in the past. Felicity enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and always thinking about the next step to growing her business.
