Happy Home Business Owner Never Wants to Return to Her Old Corporate Life

In 2006, Lorraine White knew it was time for a change. As a vice president with a public company, she was tired of playing the game. For over twenty years, she had worked long hours, traveled extensively, and carried a heavy load of responsibility. The change Lorraine had in mind was to find something she could do as a home-based business.

Lorraine knew technology had dramatically altered the business landscape. Lorraine loves the convenience of working from home. Her operating expenses are minimal, and she is able to work efficiently and effectively with few distractions. “I am in charge of my schedule, my time, and my direction,” says Lorraine."

Lorraine’s plan is to continue building the waste consulting business for the next several years and then transition to early retirement.
